About the role:

 

OPB is looking for an energetic self-starter who is excited to provide superior client-driven bilingual reception support.  Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Operations, you will be part of a collaborative Administrative Team of professionals. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for creating a welcoming and professional environment.
  • Determine the needs of both callers and visitors and will support them appropriately.
  • Manage deliveries and support our security protocols.
  • Support our administrative team, by assisting with the coordination of a variety of corporate and team engagements, special initiatives, and projects; prepare draft correspondence and documents including but not limited to orientation schedules, meeting agendas; support calendar management and travel coordination; provide research on a variety of diverse topics and prepare simple reports. 

 

Key Qualifications:

 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to engage clients and stakeholders confidently and respectfully with a professional, client-centric approach.
  • Excellent comprehension and verbal communication skills in both English and French
  • Demonstrated experience and skill providing administrative office support within a corporate environment including managing all travel functions and bookings.
  • Previous receptionist experience within a busy customer service environment that demonstrates your strong client relationships skills.
  • Strong calendar management experience supporting scheduling of meetings, corporate wide events, and initiatives.
  • Capability to handle and diffuse difficult situations with tact and diplomacy, applying proven judgement and problem-solving analysis.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize various work assignments in a coordinated and efficient manner ensuring strong attention to detail to meet established timelines, and complete work on own initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility and adaptability are required to move between a variety of tasks and move with changing priorities to work effectively and diplomatically.
  • Reliable and initiative driven with a proven ability to work in a high-pressure environment with competing demands.
  • Collaborative Team player with excellent judgement and analytical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills navigating within a Microsoft environment (e.g. Microsoft Office), particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel 

 

Compensation:

 

The base salary for this position starts at $64,454 with future potential of up to $75,829. Candidates generally start at Step 1 salary. A candidate’s placement in the range is based on skills, knowledge, experience, and internal equity, with consideration for how the candidate is developing, meets, or exceeds the role’s requirements.
