Reporting to the Manager, Business Analysis, you will provide business analysis services in support of enterprise-wide projects leveraging a combination of Agile and Waterfall analysis-aligned methodologies. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

As the successful candidate, your key responsibilities shall include:

•    Consulting with internal stakeholders using best practice methods, tools and techniques to understand needs, elicit and document user stories, business and functional requirements in a collaborative way, while communicating effectively and efficiently with operations, managerial and executive teams.
•    Evaluating, analyzing, managing and communicating requirements/user stories, while maintaining currency of artifacts such as use-cases, process models, entity diagrams, and prototypes.
•    Identifying operating methods and technological options to business needs, identifying and analyzing process gaps, risks and root causes, and translating business needs into process maps and requirements for business approval.
•    Researching and contributing to the implementation of innovative IT solutions to enable business change; project scope definition, raising and managing risks and issues within projects or in support of regular operations.
•    Working closely with the business, identifying opportunities for mitigating manual processes or automating where practical and assisting in business case and workflow design development, software evaluations and selection of new systems while maintaining documentation related to requirements and business process models.
•    Supporting the use of best practice business intelligence analysis, discovery, and visualization and reporting tools to create bi-weekly progress status reports; assisting with project change management and acting as a champion for business process changes.
•    Creating, and implementing requirements management plans for every project, in consultation with projects stakeholders identified in the stakeholder analysis.
•    Leading and coordinating small to medium Lean Six Sigma projects as requires.

 

Key Qualifications:

 

•    Proven experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and the delivery and practical application of related tools and techniques such as Confluence, Jira, Helix ALM or equivalent.
•    Proven experience in generating as-is and to-be process documentations, reports and proficiency in using tools like Lucidchart, Visio or Miro or equivalent.
•    University education in Computer Science, Data or Information Sciences, Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience and experience working with or knowledge of Project and Business Analysis lifecycle (IIBA or PMI) and application of tools and techniques.
•    Ability to evaluate environment(s), interpret requirements, conceptualize and develop recommendations to enable stakeholder-acceptable requirements and processes.
•    Well-developed problem-solving and analytical skills to research and identify issues, challenges, root causes and opportunities, and to propose effective solutions for improvement
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills to provide advice and guidance and present information clearly and concisely to all levels within the organization, including executives.
•    Strong client focus including excellent interpersonal and client relationship management skills to build strong relationships with client groups to facilitate, consult and negotiate with internal stakeholders and peers.
•    Ability to work effectively in ambiguous and changing environments and desire to work in a collaborative team environment.
•    Clear and efficient communicator in both technical and non-technical environments; deliver informative and well-organized presentations.
•    Strong technology research skills with the ability to perform market research and define and assess emerging tools, techniques and technologies.
